I got this book (lent) for the time after my surgery and I gotta say I enjoyed it more than I expected. I've never seen (or read) any Conan because I thought it wasn't anything for me but especially the first volume of this 2-volume series was so effortlessly readable to me that I enjoyed it a ton.
The furigana helped a lot and much of the vocabulary is "reused" within the book/series so there's definitely a learning effect there. The story too was quite intriguing and interesting to me. Great
