super adorable, i really enjoyed it. i was concerned the "gag" might get old but even through the end of the book it never felt like it was getting stale. i definitely want more of these characters and i'll pick up the second volume down the line.
the restrained setting and small cast make it easy to get used to the language relatively quickly. there's a little furigana in places with more unusual kanji. this was a comfortable difficulty level for me.
