While researching for his next book an author has a bizarre experience and finds himself in a strange place. Where is he? Why is he dressed in a suit? and why does everyone keep calling him 'detective'?
The "sequel" to 명탐정의 규칙 except the books aren't related beyond both being parodies of the 추리 소설 genre and having a character with the same name.
Both these books have a rare kind of absurdist/parody tone to them, the only comparison I can think of is the Discworld books. I enjoyed both of them
