Time apart from each other
Kondou continues to gather information at the church. The holy maiden spends time working outside the palace, and expresses a vision to improve the plight of those she encounters. The immensely talented knight and magic wielder, Aresh, goes on a journey and... takes steps towards passing the Bechdel test. Kind of. Their time apart leads to a change in the dynamics between Kondou and Aresh.
The vocabulary of past volumes do recur, naturally, but there are new words to pick up as well.
