Acorns and dodgeballs somehow never hit Nanami. “Go Nanami, if you get hit it's over!” everyone cheers her on (“Nanami Who Became the Target”). The man she met in the nighttime shopping district took her to a house. But it seems it wasn't her “real mother's” house... (“Memories of One Night”). Three strange, unsettling, and pure love ...

Three story stories, all felt like modern day fairytales.
A great read, and also, I think, quite learner friendly language.

木になった亜沙: the usual quirky and pleasantly weird kind of story we’ve come to expect from this author. This one is more upbeat than usual, following a young misfit girl that finds her calling in a very unexpected/absurd way. ⭐️⭐️✨
的になった七未: possibly the heaviest in its themes and events (quite a few TW), and also the longest. I feel that the overall silliness of it all makes it hard to really care and root for the main character. Possibly because of that, I didn’t enjoy it that much. ⭐️⭐️
ある夜の思い出: this one is very dreamlike, with a succession of absurd events, it’s short and weird and will likely get a smile out of you. ⭐️⭐️🌟
In terms of language learning there is nothing special to say. I’d maybe bump up the difficulty rating a little bit to L27 but it’s fairly easy modern standard Japanese with no dialect, few difficult words, grammar or Kanji. This is a fairly safe choice for one of your first few books.
