First and foremost, I recommend this book only for language learning.
Most of the words and the dialogue are, at least what it feels right now, very "natural" and useful. Sure, it's very cheesy, but the wording is believable.
The story is really nothing special and I was sometimes so bored, that I couldn't read more than 30-45 minutes per day.

This book is often mentioned on TMW discord, so I felt compelled to read it.
Basically it's a romcom. Definitely not my genre of choice, but you should try other genres.
Lots of informal casual speech and contractions. If you're coming from a manga background though, you should be fine. Whilst the style is pretty simple; this contains ~1300 unique kanji, so you might want to wait until you're around N2 in that regard -- unless you enjoy intensive reading and mining.
Boring and sometimes cringeworthy story, but great for language learning
Language Learning: Mostly easy sentences (you will be more than fine with N3 grammar) and a great source of everyday vocabulary for beginner learners.
Entertainment: The story seems to be aimed at ~13 y/o boys and if you are not at least very close to this target demographic, this book is most likely going to be a mix of boring and cringey.
