It's a simple and cute short story, I don't have much to say about it. In the language learning aspect, the vocabulary and grammar are fairly easy for a low intermediate level, I encountered some words I didn't know but I was able to understand the story regardless. It's basically just dialogue and it doesn't have a lot of decorative languages describing scenes and such. Also there's an audio version on Aozora Roudoku to listen along.

Cute and classic Christmas story. For an Aozora story there is minimal old grammar and kanji, and the writing is nearly all dialogue.
