A lovely slow-burn romance nestled within a charming slice of life story. There is some drama, and moments that tug at the heartstrings, but overall this is a touching, heart-warming series that I have enjoyed reading over and over again .
지원영 has just been fired from his job at a prestigious company due to suspicion he was involved in a corruption scandal. He goes on a staycation while he waits for his name to be cleared so he can return to work. Coincidentally, he stumbles upon the talented potter 윤태준, who unexpectedly disappeared from the spotlight, and who also happens to be the company chairman’s favourite artist. Hoping this might be a chance to get his job back, 원영 attempts to befriend the aloof 태준, but of course things don't quite go according to plan…
The series is aimed at adults, so the language is more advanced than the average romance 만화: you can expect vocabulary relating to office settings, art and pottery, and generally more extensive conversations. Having said that, the story is primarily a romantic slice of life (or a slice of life romance, whichever you prefer), so the language used isn’t particularly specialised or obscure.
Needless to say, if you enjoy BL, I whole-heartedly recommend you try this.
