Though the stories were mostly interesting and entertaining, I think I went over my head with this one. Way above JLPT N4, for both grammar and vocabulary. I gave it a try because the book wasn't marked with a school year, unlike other books from the same publisher.
Also, I read it on kindle, and it was troublesome searching for words that were written half kanji half hiragana (instead of more advanced kanji), as the dictionary couldn't pick that. There were also lots of "uncommon" words, not i
