When the blossoms fall and the cherry trees turn into leafy cherry trees, small cherries begin to bear fruit in the shade of the leaves. In summer, the trees are crowded with insects. In autumn, the leaves change color to red and yellow, and ...

Another in the genre of let's teach kids about [some topic]. This one, as you might guess, is about sakura trees. Everything is in hirigana and it's pretty simple, but there's a little bit of specialised terminology worth grabbing from here, and also Japanese people love talking about cherry blossoms so it's worth learning anyway.

Bookish language
This story is written fully in hiragana with spaces between the words. In addition to having lots of terms related to Sakura, there's also some bookish ways of writing sentences and some less common descriptive words that make this book a little bit harder.
You can read this book for free by watching a YouTube read aloud. The text is shown clearly, but there is some loud music that plays in between pages. https://youtu.be/MF-01a8PymA?si=ZbcpsG-HNrPSi9Vk
