Good for those starting to read novels
For how popular this apparently is, I was expecting it to be more interesting. It is still a decent children's book though, and it's pretty approachable language wise, so I would recommend it for people who are starting to read novels. I think I would've liked it more had I read it one or two years ago, but now that I'm able to read a variety of things, it's just not interesting enough for me to be willing to continue reading the series. The cat illustrations were nice though!
I would say it's a nice alternative to 이상한 과자 가게 전천당. It doesn't have that short story format but the chapters aren't long, so it's still pretty approachable.
