What's great about a collection like this is that it introduces you to a variety of different authors and gives you

Why can't I grade this item?
Okay selection of classic short stories
A selection of classic short stories for japanese 1st graders. Has the same problem like other children´s books in that there is only a limited amount of kanji used (even though there would be furigana anyway). The stories are also varied and by different authors, so it´s hard to get used to the writing. That being said, this makes it also a bit more digestible and some of the stories are engaging enough.
Hard to recommend as there are better options available for this level.
