The Conclusion of the Krausner Domain Arc: A Fulfilling Journey
Entertainment: This volume unveils the continuation of Sei and Albert's adventures at the Krausner Domain. With the Third Order's reconnaissance of the surrounding forests completed, their mission to locate and purify the miasma swamp begins. They initially face a significant setback, encountering an army of slimes and being forced to retreat. After regrouping and preparing anew, they venture back into the forest, ultimately succeeding in purifying the miasma swamp and regenerating the forest. The volume concludes with Sei and Albert's return to the capital.
Language Learning: By this point, readers should not encounter any unfamiliar terms after three volumes. The author's tendency to be repetitive is the main issue, which I find slightly detracts from the reading experience.
Overall: My main critique is the volume's brevity. It feels like the entire Krausner Domain arc could have been condensed into a single book. While the events of this volume are not uninteresting—in fact, there's more action than in the previous volumes—it feels like not much happens since it primarily wraps up the arc started in the previous volume. The appearance of Yuri and the presence of Leonhardt continue to delight, but I wish for more development in Sei and Albert's relationship. The volume ends with a collection of eight short stories, all charming and enjoyable, yet it's unfortunate that the main storyline wasn't further expanded. Nevertheless, the anticipation of a fresh setting with the return to the capital in the next volume is exciting!
