[DeepL Translation - needs review] Swimmy, a small black fish, is left all alone when all of her siblings are swallowed up by a large fish. As he travels through the sea, he sees many wonderful things. Then he meets a big fish again... This is one of Leo Leoni's masterpieces that has been translated all over the world and has been a long seller in Japan as well.

This book is the Japanese translation of the Swimmy, the 1964 Caldecott Honor book and has a simple plot with some deeper motifs. It is not particularly difficult, but for readers who already know the story then this is an accessible children's book. Like most children's books, this is good for beginners if your library has it because there is not a lot of content to it.
Cute story
A cute story about a fish's travels in the ocean.
Written in full hiragana with spaces between the words.
