I watched the live action movie and thought it was great, but I got the feeling the plot had been heavily condensed to fit into a ~90min movie format so I picked up the manga to check.
Basic plot: Mikado can see ghosts but can't really do anything about them so he just feels scared and awkward and hides his ability. Hiyakawa can exorcise ghosts, but can't really see them well.
