Language wise, the novel is maybe of N3 difficulty, but that makes it very easy and fast to read.
The story is kind of a fairly standard love comedy, but there is plenty of plot subversion and foreshadowing to keep the reader engaged until the end. Looking forward to subsequent installments!

Perfect for my level
A fairly standard romcom but that happened to hit my strike zone of desired difficulty and interest pretty much dead on. Each chapter is a standalone story (though they begin to link up into longer episodes halfway through the book) and there's some point-of-view shifting that makes the MC a slightly more interesting character than these tend to be, though he is still fairly dense (as per usual). Language is very conversational and the internal monologuing usually doesn't get too complicated eit
