Intimate and heartwarming story
This movie jumps between two periods in our protagonist's life: her childhood memories and her present-day adult self. Completely exhausted with Tokyo's hustle, she takes a break to visit friends in the Tohoku countryside and help harvest safflower for making dye. Even if only for just a moment, she wanted to swap her rushed city routine for the slow, peaceful rhythm of rural life.
