Great chinese japanese movie

I wouldn't have watch this movie if it wasn't for this website that recommended this for jlpt n4 level. the movie is 60% mandarin and 40% Japanese.

I WILL be watching this again

Impeccable story telling and easy to follow even if you don’t understand a full piece of dialogue. As it’s the main characters second language, it’s quite simple Japanese for the most part.

If you can’t read kanji (or kana) very fast, this probably isn’t the movie for you. You would have to pause a lot to read as half the movie is in Chinese. I don’t imagine it would be as an enjoyable experience if I had to do that.

I loved it so much though 😭😭😭
