Heartwarming and on the easier side

This is the first time I've watched a movie entirely in Korean, and though I definitely didn't understand everything, I did understand a lot. Especially Sosuke and Ponyo, since they are 5 year olds, their speech is relatively easy. I think it would also be a good watch for people wanting to dive into watching movies in Korean who have already seen the movie with English subtitles.

Great movie for beginners!

This is on par with Totoro for beginner movies. Much easier than live action K-dramas & movies. Highly recommend as an entry movie... and it's classic Ghibli.

I will say that the one or two Wizard scenes do have a bit more difficult vocabulary, but really, most of the dialogue is talking to a 6 year old, so quite easy.
