Blurb
Two sisters move to the country with their father in order to be closer to their hospitalized mother, and discover the surrounding trees are inhabited by Totoros, magical spirits of the forest. When the youngest runs away from home, the older sister seeks help from the spirits to find her.

Great movie to start with! Super approachable. Caveat: Dubs
The language in this film is far easier than what you'll find in tv dramas, it's great! But the dubbed audio does not match the subtitles as expected. Even still, the language is easy enough that I recommend giving it a go. I mostly just read the subs for understanding, but I picked up quite a lot of the dialogue too just by listening.
Since I live in Korea, I get access to a lot of Miyazaki films on Netflix here... will probably watch a few more!
