In a tranquil neighbourhood of Tokyo, seven teenagers wake to find their bedroom mirrors are shining. Good, but better read the novel
I think this movie is pretty enjoyable.
However, it is really hard to recommend this movie since it felt like just an inferior version of the book. It doesn't provide anything beyond what the book already gave, and even the animation didn't seem to provide the theatrical effect that would usually be the big plus for seeing a movie.
That being said, I think if you decide not to read the book, a movie is still a decent compromise. It's just really hard for me to recommend a strictly inferior ve
