If you liked the last 1/3rd of Evangelion you'll probably like this. For me this took everything that was awful about that portion of the show, and amplified it, while going off the deep end for the final hour.
While I think the original ending is Bad, I can respect it in a way, and vastly prefer it over EoE. In the end, both the show and movie are not for me.
