High schoolers Mitsuha and Taki are complete strangers living separate lives. But one night, they suddenly switch places. Mitsuha wakes up in Taki’s body, and he in hers. This bizarre occurrence continues to happen randomly, and the two must adjust their lives around each other.

Incredible movie... it's hard to know where to even start. Worth watching for the animation alone (the music isn't bad either, tho I'm not the hugest Radwimps fan). There's some excellent voice actors in it as well! Anyway, it's famous, so I won't try to summarize.

Masterpiece

I had watched this movie 3 times before knowing any Japanese years ago, and now finally my time to shine after hundreds of hours of language study! 君の名は is such a beautiful movie in every regard. The animation is top tier, voice acting, character development, storybuilding, and of course, a romance that defies space and time.
