Nakatsu and his mother talk about his future, and a decision is made. Nakao and Ashiya bond, and as Valentine's Day approaches, they both decide to be bold and get chocolates for their crushes. Nakao builds up the courage to admit his feelings genuinely to Nanba. Poor boy, but a good growth moment for him!
Meanwhile, Ashiya works herself up to do the same, and gives chocolates to Sano. But the exchange is interrupted Yuujirou's backstory, with some surprising visitors. I wasn't a /big/ fan of this part, it felt too much like unnecessary filler to me.
Sano's response to her gift still lingers in her mind, and when she gets the courage to ask what he meant, Sano finally admits his true feelings. With [almost] everything out in the air, how will their relationship progress from here?
And things aren't over for Ashiya yet, as this volume leaves off on a big cliffhanger--dorm 1's Tennoji accidentally spies someone changing! Has her secret finally been found out?
With only one volume left after this, I'm excited to see how the ending will compare to the dramas. ^^
For Japanese Learners:
As this is a series, my thoughts are the same as volume one, which you can read more about that + my thoughts on the series as a whole here: https://learnnatively.com/review/b012ff0d41/
