A simplified retelling of Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, which also includes information about the author, the settings mentioned in the story, and various monsters that appear in horror. There are also lots of questions at the end of each chapter to test comprehension.
The story is well-written, and at a comfortable reading level for beginners. Occasionally, definitions are provided (in German) for vocabulary, although sometimes I felt that easier words were explained instead of less common words. I didn't have access to the audio accompaniment, nor did I use the question sections, so I can't comment on those, but the art was suitably creepy for the story.
