Cute cats and the dragon they raised
猫と竜 features a series of short story, slice-of-life looks at magical cats (called cat-siths in the book, mercifully straightforwardly transliterated as ケットシー) and their guardian dragon during their day-to-day lives in 初心者の森 and the neighboring fantasy kingdom. The cat art is the real highlight here; the mangaka is clearly a cat fan, and each cat is drawn as cute/cool as possible. Lots of fluffy tails and fur.
As nice as it was to read along the adventures of cute cats, the lack of an overarching narrative kept me from getting truly invested. Only one or two characters have names, and besides the final two chapters there's not much expansion of the world itself. Not a bad little manga, but not one I'll likely continue unless there's nothing else at hand.
No furigana, but if you've got standard generic fantasy vocab™ under your belt you'll likely be fine. Grammar was pretty N3 if I remember correctly.
