More Akane-Ryouga-Ranma teasing, unnecessarily long & annoying Happosai nonsense, and Shampoo-Akane rivalry... so, business as usual? The first two stories re-used gimmicks from previous volumes, so they weren't super interesting. The first story also gave me another moment to be disappointed in Akane when Ryouga's basically beating up his alleged 妹 (Ranma in disguise), in the name of discipline.... Like what happened to all of her "don't pick on the weak" stuff, all of a sudden? Why is it ok when Ryouga picks on people??

Otoh, the last story involves Akane getting a power-up, and the ending between her and Ranma is actually, momentarily, a little cute
