This is (the Japanese dub of) an Australian mini-drama about a 12-year-old trans girl and her experiences at her new school. While it's a bit simplistic and pointedly educational about trans issues at times given the target audience, I enjoyed it overall and liked the performance of both the main actress and the dub actors. The story contains bullying and transphobia (including Hannah being outed at her new school), but overall it is optimistic.
The Japanese dub is easy to follow; the performance is a little bit more naturalistic than what you'd hear in anime, the voices are clear, and the lines are generally not very fast-paced. Vocabulary usage is about what you'd expect from a series about a bunch of preteen girls having preteen life problems and scenes with family members - nothing too difficult. There are also optional subtitles on the NHK for School website, which use kanji.
