Bizarrely brilliant

Do you ever watch a show and get the sense that the cast and crew are having a ton of fun making it? Yuru Yuri is a show overflowing with that feeling.

I went into this expecting a calm moe slice-of-life, and instead got a frantic and absurd comedy (albeit one that didn't always quite land, partially due to my own imperfect understanding) with a gorgeous colour palette and style that have stayed in my mind long since I watched it. The love and joy put into this by the creators is infectious.
