A supernatural thriller in which a family in a bad situation move to a house in the countryside for a fresh start. But something isn't right in the house and strange things start happening from the moment they move in.
This book is laid out in 3 long chapters, one POV per chapter. Outside of some supernatural vocab like 귀신, 원귀, 부적 etc the vocab is quite high frequency. Mostly describing the house and the family activites as they settle into their new home.
The hardest language sections were when the Buddist priest was explaining how to expel evil spirits. He spoke in satoori and was using a lot of esoteric vocab but since it's describing fictional exorcisms the reader doesn't really miss much if they don't get all the specifics of this bit.
Overall a fun fast-paced read. It also has a (not greatly reviewed) movie adaptation apparently.
