Story: I didn’t really like this volume, but am also considering reading the next one. The story is kinda interesting, and not what I was expecting from the first two chapters.
The thing is I’m not quite into the characters, and the (lack of) chemistry they have so far. They feel very syncopated, when they should be on the beat (can you tell I’ve been watching too many band anime lately :joy:). One feels very forced (and there is sorta a story reason for this), and the other just feels a bit extreme/unrealistic. It should be interesting, but there’s just something about it feels kinda flat to me overall.
Language: great for picking up office vocab. Occasionally doujinshi stuff or meta-references had me scratching my head, and every once in a while there would be a sentence or two where I was just totally lost, even after checking the translation.
