This is a nice follow-up to the first volume. Towa has now become a teacher at an LGBTQ+ supportive school and plays a part in three stories, one involving a kid in his class, one involving his co-worker, and one involving himself (and a kid in his class and a co-worker). While the manga continues to focus on the issues transgender people face in Japan, two of the stories in this volume also look at problems faced by same-sex couples, such as the lack of legal healthcare rights for same-sex spouses. There is also a minor character who doesn't identify with the idea of gender!
Because this is still a manga About a Social Issue, Towa basically turns to the screen and informs the reader What Being Transgender Means a couple of times, but I didn't find it too didactic overall, mostly since in the last chapter, Towa gets to have some angst of his own instead of being Mister Advocacy.
There is only furigana on names, and some legal/formal terms around relationships and transition are used.
