Fun show, plenty of everyday content, some fantasy content
Cardcaptor Sakura is one of the classical magical girl shows. It balances a bit of magical girl action, every day life events, an amount of romance that might be surprising if you've only watched the US-English dub, and is generally well regarded for good reason.
As for language learning, it is aimed at kids, which helps put it on the easier side (but isn't dull for adults unlike some other kids shows). However, it's not the easiest content in the world either, as there's some of the magic related content which are a little tricky at times, a major character speaks in Kansai-ben and then there's another who spreads stories and myths where the on-screen content doesn't give as much context clues and his tall tales can be pretty out there.
For me this was my first show I attempted to watch in Japanese, and it went well, but I already knew the content pretty well, having watched it a lot as a kid and having recently rewatched it in English. It's maybe not the best first choice otherwise, but it's good maybe after a few shows under your belt.
