A fun continuation of the 四つ子 plot. This story focuses on the first sister 一花 and her unexpected history, and much like the first book flits between fun slice-of-life farce, more serious issues described using a relatively simple vocabulary, and a mean adult whose comeuppance is well-deserved. My main complaint is that the narrator character is perhaps the least interesting of the four sisters, though they address this somewhat in the story itself.
