It was reasonably entertaining and coherent, albeit a bit ridiculous at times (I'll never get used to how lax Japanese shows are with random sexual stuff). The show front loads a lot of the lingo you need to know into the opening exposition, and then honestly it's not that bad from there. A great source of learning Kansai-ben as one of the main characters speaks it heavily.
