The way Sesshoumaru deals with the situation with Rin is really sweet and interesting (and his mom's reaction to it is also interesting). The youkai in the middle chapters is one of the more creative ones. Kagome and Inuyasha both manga to be really impressive, and the way they work together is really awesome! The ways they are caring for each other, in the wake of Kikyou's death and (Inuyasha especially) still grieving is also very sweet. The final antagonist and the way that plays out is really enjoyable, as well!
