I won’t lie, I only picked this up because there were scathing reviews on Japanese Amazon calling it a “homo manga” and “basically a BL doujinshi” that made me cry from laughter. I really enjoyed the cute fluffy family bits, the cooking (which I ended up skim reading or skipping entirely) not so much! I think I would’ve preferred it if the best chapters were instead just tacked onto the original manga as bonus chapters. I kind of want to keep reading because I really do love the characters, but not quite sure how they’ve made 5 whole volumes of this.
