A more black, less tasteful parallel to はたらく細胞

The language is more difficult here than はたらく細胞. There's almost no furigana and more biological/medical terms used.

The content... We'll, it's a more black version of the original. That in itself is a fun idea: cells at work in a body that's in a critical state, resulting in a 'black' (=unethical) working environment.

What ruined it a bit for me is the sexual element that was absent in はたらく細胞, or at least the first volume that I read.

There did not need to be any naked or half naked women in this manga, but they were in abundance. I guess the cover should have warned me.

The tasks of the cells were also focused on less savory aspects of human life. Maybe it's all in order to be more 'black'?
