Often when I finish a good anime I feel empty, but Vinland Saga makes me feel fullfilled
There are plenty of good shows that are enjoyable to watch and I in no way want to devalue those in any way, but what differs those from this, is in my opinion that this season of Vinland Saga is truly moving and inspiring. Thorfinn's development is not unique, but the way that it is portrayed and developed (along with other characters), feels very human and powerful. The things the characters go through is something most of us will be able to relate to. The pacing can be a bit slow for some as it takes a while for things to take off, but personally I found it to be perfect. The animation itself is a bit weaker than in the first season, but this season still has plenty of nicely animated sequences.
As for the difficulty, it contains plenty of easy to follow day-to-day dialogue. The grammar is fairly simple too, so quite a large part of the show is actually quite easy to follow. However, there are still plenty of moments where I was lost, more so near the end at the important bits.
