Another volume full of feelings. The transition to middle school is a tough one for sure! It's nice seeing Akira grow and become more comfortable with living as a girl, but there's definitely some growing pains that come along. Akira & Rumi's friendship is sweet, but a bit concerning, in terms of dependency. Hopefully after this volume it will get a bit healthier.
The former gender thing is kind of just in the background most of the time, and mainly exists in the form of trauma. Akira doesn't otherwise seem hung up on it though.
