It's a very short and fun story best for absolute beginners. The terms for "Rock-Paper-Scissors" which are unique to the game in Japanese (along with the phrase あいこでしょう!) might be new for beginners but they can be understood from context and the last page of the book illustrates them well. It's a nice read overall (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)
