Much Needed Addition to LGBTQ+ Manga
This was probably the most realistic portrayal of lgbtq+ people out there in Japanese manga that I've read (besides 私の息子はたぶんげ/I think my son is gay). It was a really nice portrayal of an asexual woman and a gay man living together. I liked the chapters exploring their pasts and journeys of self-exploration, as well as their "married" life, disastrously relatable cooking and all. In addition, the art was gorgeous - it's slightly softer looking than most manga and draws the characters more realistically as well, which I liked. It fit the vibe of the story very nicely. Overall, I think that this is a much needed addition to the lgbtq+ manga out there, and the lovely story, likable characters, and beautiful art will have no trouble drawing in readers.
About the Japanese: This is quite easy, with everyday language and furigana used throughout. Recommended!
