Just as enjoyable as the first
If you read the first, you're getting pretty much the exact same here: sweet scenarios with the unintentionally goofy 白崎主任. It seems the author had planned for a volume 3, but four years after volume 2's publication I don't see any listing for it. You're pretty safe reading these first two volumes, however: there's no real major cliffhanger, and though the author's left our main pair open for new adventures together, the laid-back nature of the story means it's not a huge disappointment if the next volume never releases.
