I think this is what I wanted the first book to be. A lot of different maps that come together that form a full story. It's really fun. Once again not high literature but you probably don't come into it thinking it will be.
It does deal with really heavy topics towards the end, I added relevant tags under spoilers on here. In general, nothing is graphic though and everything is described with some distance and matter of fact.
Difficulty wise, with a few chapters as an exception it's once again dialogue heavy like the previous book in the series. It is not significantly more difficult than either that or Hen na e. Though it is significantly longer than either. I think if you read the other books and didn't have a big problem you're good to go with this one too.
