Good manga for beginners. It was easy to understand what's going on even without looking up unknown vocabulary. It also helped that the chapters are self-containing. I was around level 10 on wanikani while reading this but you could pick it up earlier.
For the "story": It was cute and that's it. I had to force myself to finish it tbh (⌒_⌒;) Still, I would recommend it for the learning experience!
