This is a really fun series, with interesting and lovable characters. I was invested in them both as individual, and as a pairing. I also appreciated that it was about working adults and not students.
The language is full of game slang as well as animanga slang, especially regarding fandom slang, which means it could be difficult to understand sometimes and required more digging than just jisho. Sometimes I only found the meaning of the word by using Japanese websites with no English translation.
Other than vocabulary, there were also references to pop culture - games and animanga (especially Evangelion), but also Japanese variety shows, which makes the reading more challenging. It is not necessary to understand all of those references to enjoy the story, but they do enhance the experience, and I found researching it very fun. I definitely learned a lot! The grammar is not very difficult, I suppose it averaged to around high N3/low N2.
