Girl teases guy – better than it sounds
I'm not entirely sure why I like this, yet another entry in the girl-teasing-guy romcom genre, so much. Maybe it's that the setting is young-adult uni students instead of the highschoolers that otherwise permeate the genre. Maybe it's that both parties read as incredibly genuine (dare I say cute) and that they both seem to have their lives together better than the usual crowd – emotionally speaking, anyway. In any event, it's a good time, even with the usual ecchi tropes all over.
Language-wise, we're looking mostly at general domestic-ish vocab, with the occasional foray into service industry/waitering talk and Otaku stuff. Grammar is largely conversational with very little internal monologues to complicate things, making it a pretty easy read, though the word density is a bit higher than I expected.
