This felt disappointing after volume 1, and honestly seemed like the mangaka was just looking for excuses to draw sex scenes. I wish Mari and Rin had taken up less of the volume, and that more time was given to show the process of Chitose and Yae's growth. Whatever semblance of realism and depth the first book had, this one completely discarded, in favor of more fluffy fantasy. While it's easy to get caught up in the fluffy, upbeat mood of things, I didn't feel like anything substantive had been communicated by the end.
Nothing against fluffy fantasy, just a disappointment as a follow-up to the first book.
