Cons: The premise is similar to Solo Leveling but the writing isn't very good. Despite having the makings of a harem I decided to give it a shot regardless because I wanted to dip my toes into fantasy. In typical fashion with harem stories, the main character has a watered down personality and each girl he meets inexplicably falls for him. Additionally the side characters feel very shallow and unimaginative. The dialogue between characters doesn't feel natural and at times is quite forced.
Pros: The MC's unique ability adds some interest to the plot but and there were some times where he put it to good use. I also think the author did a good job at writing the fight scenes.
Overall, I didn't enjoy this book. I like progression fantasy but because I couldn't get to the point to care about any of the characters, I in turn couldn't find myself to care about the progression itself either. It felt like a chore to get through.
