Language Learning: I did not think that this was an easy book for beginners and as the other reviewer already pointed out, the rating of L25 (at the time I started reading) seemed wrong. Sure, the story is extremely predictable and hence easy to follow along, but many individual sentences took me lots of effort to figure out. I struggled with it more than with any of the 10 beginner books I had read before this. While it maybe was a good learning experience, I still wish I had waited and read this book later. Not a good choice for early beginners.
Entertainment: High school loner guy miraculously ends up dating one of the most popular girls in school. You probably know the drill. While always full of tropes, I have to admit that I usually enjoy this kind of story. However, I did not think that it was very well executed here: The main character is not very likeable, the reason for the two of them dating is overly contrived, and the ending felt forced and unnatural and did not make much sense to me. 2/5 because some of the dialogue was entertaining.
